It can certainly evolve to include childbirth ed, Anne… i really feel like it is a vital part of the equation. I will be calling for a pow-wow soon to find out what some of the needs and concerns of Erie doula’s are so that we can get a broader picture of what is needed to begin. I will keep you updated
We have officially begun Doulas For All. You can find us on Facebook and on the web at DoulasForAll.org This will be the branch of our growing empire that will provide doula and doula-related financial support for expectant families! You can come out to the Zombie Lurch on Sat May 29th to help support our fundraising efforts! 33% of all funds raised will go directly to Doulas For All. 33% will benefit ICAN of Erie, and 33% will be donated to the Kanzius Cancer Foundation in honor of Sir Hubby’s mother and father who both lost their battles with cancer.
